To sow beans? And squash? And corn? And and and?
Well… yes… outside.
But inside? Nah…
And I haven’t had a successful second sprouting of peppers yet. The front porch forgotten greenhouse may have me destined for the nursery.
The tomatoes
and sunflowers
are still growing strong, though.
Never mind the extinction of that dinosaur.
Seedlings are looking real good and strong inside.
Thanks to Texas winters, they mostly stay on the front porch.
So I’m guessing you have frosts?
We had snow last week, and a couple other nights with crunchy grass. I brought them in for those events.
Your seedlings look great. I’ll probably start a few soon.
Starting seeds, more so than harvesting, is one of my favorite things in the whole world. I hope your seed-starting is both soothing and exciting!
This brings back fond memories of starting seeds in my clawfoot bathtub in New Hampshire…a sunny warm spot that brought about nice growth.
I bet that made for some good memories of anticipatory excitement for the spring thaw!
