It’s Sunday. I just read “The Broad Bean Sermon,” a poem by Les Murray ( https://www.lyrikline.org/en/poems/broad-bean-sermon-334). It begins:
Beanstalks, in any breeze, are a slack church parade
without belief, saying trespass against us in unison . . .
