We missed our turn here…
A friend is going to try to roast and grind the seeds to make a tastes-like-coffee drink (with no caffeine.) Perhaps overgrown okra will have a delicious purpose after all.

Have you tried that? Is it as good as they say?
She hasn’t roasted yet. I gathered another round of over grown ones. A tour at a local coffee roaster gave me a chance to ask if they’ve tried it. They hadn’t but offered free use of a small roaster (and their expertise) to try, so I’ll give that a go when I get to that side of town again and let y’all know.
