I know what you mean about transplants but you do have a baby pepper forming. I have basil that needs to be transplanted outside but I don’t think it will like all the sun. I just set the tray out in direct sun for 10 minutes today and then brought it back on the patio. It is all so happy living with just a couple of hours of sun. 🙂
I have a week left to visit the old garden and am hopeful to find some volunteer basil sprouts to bring along. I think you may me right though, and I should keep them potted nearby for afternoon shade. At least until the tomatoes grow enough to shadow.
