A fragrant mimosa. A little spiny thing when I planted it five ish years ago at what was then our home and is now our rental. We were back there this week getting ready for new tenants and it’s a little tree now.
We had a mimosa in my backyard in Oregon growing up. This fragrant mimosa makes me think of if a mimosa and a cactus crossed. Not unlike Texas, soft and pokey!

Love their little puff ball blossoms. We used to have one in our yard when I lived with my parents growing up in Texas.
