Happy summer! I think I’m going to try and sneak in a few black-eyed peas a7’s a few more okra… I can’t stand bare earth and besides, it only cooks the worms to let the earth stay exposed…
I was smart to plug a few okra seeds at the school gardens for summer; I have a key for entry and harvest! I have been unable to grow here due to the growing deer herd. Black-eyes peas .. mmm. Haven’t thought about growing those. Have you had success?
I haven’t tried yet but will let you know! A co-worker says hers last summer didn’t even blink at the 100 degree days.
