Each day, closer. Inching less than inches, but progressing all the same.
Suddenly, she’s there. Another switch flipped and it’s time. Finally, it’s time. Too soon, it’s time. It’s always time.

She sowed them in a pot out front, and when they’d grown about 3/4″ tall, she “gave them a rock blanket so they’d sleep well.” Needless to say, we lost most of those sprouts but this one persisted.
Plants do that. They are very forgiving of budding gardeners. Thankfully so!
