“Puhpul flowers”
“Peas? More peas?”
“Caderperar right dere?”
“Tomayo!” (And a sweet potato volunteer…)
“Uh oh. It get down.” (The arbor fell in a storm.)
“Snail! Hold it? Mama hold it?”
“Carrots ok.” (And more sweet potato volunteers.)
“Lello flowers.” (On a broccoli that never made broccoli but made plenty of greens and is now over six feet tall. This photo is at my eye level and it’s well over my head.)
Now, onto preparing for a little gardener’s airplane party… (“aye-plane!Noise…See it!”)
Gardens and babies….
Lucky for me, it’s pretty much my life every evening this spring. A truly special time.
oh, you are an inspiration-look at all you have growing and two children!!! I am so impressed with your productive and beautiful garden. You just had a baby and wow-look how you get it all done. I never was that good when I had small children. Pat yourself on the back.
we have slugs but never snails with shells, had no idea you had that in texas:-)
I don’t do a lot of it lately, my husband does for me. But a little at a time a chip in. Two pepper transplants here, beans sown there, grass pulled now and then. My eldest is quite the helper. She really likes dousing her head in the sprinkler and rearranging the tomato labels…
Lovely. I’m looking forward to following you as I started my own vegetable garden this year. Happy growing 🙂
Wonderful news! Watch out, it can be quite addicting.
