I love plums, I’m looking for a grafted plum with a couple of varities to plant this year.
That’s exactly what this one is – a four way graft on dwarf stock. I got it from Raintree Nursery (shipped from Washington.) I’ve had friends order from them and have sent their bare roots as gifts and everything has turned out well each time.
That sound excellent a 4 way graft, I’m in Australia so will see what I can find, thanks.
How exciting! I put two dwarf plum trees on our lot-yours look so amazing:-) I can hardly wait:-)
They’re so tasty! So tasty in fact, that my husband picked up a second one 😉
how I learn:-)
Dwarf stock! That’s awesome. Looks like a great producer. Can’t wait to see how she does through the Texas summer.
She wilts without water every 2-3 days, but perseveres. This will be her third or fourth summer and so far so good!
Is she in a pot?
Yes. Half a whiskey barrel. She’ll probably get put in the ground this November.
