2014 is off to a rousing start


Some homegrown onions, garlic, and rosemary lend their flavor to carrots, a potato, and my first attempt at pheasant.

      I hadn’t either, but there it was in the grocery store looking unwanted. I found it tasty. Like a moist, slightly chewy, more flavorful chicken.

  2. I’m glad you enjoyed the pheasant. Growing up in Great Britain, they were pretty plentiful but harder to find here, I think. I haven’t had one in years; you’ve tempted me…
