Okra! How I miss okra. Good to see you are settling toes into your new piece of earth.
No okra down there for you?
No. It’s Mama deer’s favorite food, right up there with roses and hibiscus (don’t have those either). I plant a couple bushes at the school garden, right next to a compost pile; usually gives me enough for a salad snack. I deer there.
